ABOUT US
QUEENZ SOUNDS is a live music-focused Scottish-registered charity dedicated to creating safe spaces, fostering artist growth and development, and promoting equality within the music industry. Our mission is to empower incredible musicians and build a supportive community where value and collaboration thrive.
The music industry faces significant inequality, with statistics revealing a stark gender divide—roughly 70% male to 30% women—and a lack of recognition for LGBTQIA+ members in many diversity surveys. This highlights the urgent need for support and change. Queenz Sounds is committed to uplifting women and LGBTQIA+ musicians, providing the tools and encouragement they need to advance their careers and thrive as artists. We work closely with trustees, volunteers, organisations, and artists worldwide to make this vision a reality.
What sets Queenz Sounds apart is our deep-rooted expertise and unwavering passion. Our team brings together a wealth of qualifications and experience across various music sectors. Many of us have been immersed in the industry from a young age, and as women and/or LGBTQIA+ musicians, we understand firsthand the challenges faced by underrepresented groups. This personal connection fuels our dedication to breaking barriers and creating opportunities for others.
At Queenz Sounds, we believe in equality, shared opportunities, and driving positive change in the music industry. Our values guide everything we do, and we are passionate about supporting those often overlooked in the industry.
Thank you for visiting Queenz Sounds! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us on social media or via email.
